Right alongside them is Jamba Juice, opening its second location in St. George. Known for their acai bowls, smoothies, and fresh juices, Jamba Juice offers a healthy and refreshing option for anyone looking to fuel up. Like Crave Cookies, Jamba Juice also features a drive-thru, perfect for on-the-go customers.

Both of these eateries have only been open for a few weeks, but they are already generating buzz and attracting locals eager to try something new.

A little further down from Sunset Corner is Toastique, a popular acai and smoothie breakfast spot that has been a staple in the community for a couple of years. Recently, Toastique underwent a change in ownership and celebrated a grand reopening in January. Recently, Switch Point completed an expansion of their community resource center, significantly increasing their capacity. The number of beds has grown from 75 to 159, nearly doubling their ability to house those in need.

The expansion includes:

• 16 additional family rooms

• 16 new men's rooms

• Enhanced amenities to support residents on their path to stability

This growth is a testament to the community’s commitment to addressing homelessness and providing dignified support for those facing difficult circumstances. Switch Point remains a cornerstone of compassion and assistance in Southern Utah.

Also new to CP Plaza is Rosie Nail Spa 4, a nail spa that provides a wide range of beauty services. Whether you’re looking for a quick manicure or a full spa treatment, Rosie Nail Spa 4 offers a welcoming environment to relax and refresh your look.

Sanctuary Holistic Wellness: A New Center for Health Optimization

One of the most exciting openings at CP Plaza is Sanctuary Holistic Wellness, which held its grand opening on April 4th. This wellness center is a personal favorite of mine, having experienced their services at their previous location.

Sanctuary Holistic Wellness offers a variety of treatments designed to optimize health and wellness, including:

• Colon hydrotherapy

• Spectra light therapy

• A range of supplements

• A juice bar to complement detox and cleanse programs

The center’s holistic approach aims to help clients overcome various health challenges by supporting the body's natural detoxification and healing processes. It’s inspiring to see this business flourish and expand into a beautiful new space on Sunset Boulevard.

Upcoming Openings: Donutsville, Nomad Soul Interiors, and Jade’s Cafe

There’s more to look forward to at CP Plaza. Signs for Donutsville have recently gone up, and while the interior is still under construction, this popular donut chain from Washington is expected to be a hit once it opens.

On the other side of the plaza, Nomad Soul Interiors and Jade’s Cafe are also in the works. Although their build-outs have taken longer than anticipated, they are aiming for openings in the second quarter of the year.

• Jade’s Cafe is a well-loved breakfast and lunch spot from Heber, known for its delicious offerings and cozy atmosphere.

• Nomad Soul Interiors is a high-end furniture store and a sister company to Jade’s Cafe, both owned by the same group.

These additions will further diversify the shopping and dining experiences available on Sunset Boulevard, enhancing its appeal as a destination for residents and visitors.

Changes and New Beginnings: From Bowling Alley to Credit Union

Just past the Taco Bell on Sunset Boulevard, a significant change has taken place. The old Sunset Bowling Alley, a place filled with memories for many locals, has been demolished. In its place, Mountain America Credit Union plans to build a new branch.

While the exact timeline for construction hasn’t been announced, it’s expected to begin sometime this year. This new financial institution will provide convenient banking services to the community, continuing the trend of growth and modernization along the corridor.

Discount Tire and Future Land Developments

Near the Autozone on Sunset Boulevard, Discount Tire has recently opened after a lengthy build-out. The store is now fully operational, offering tire sales and services to locals.

Behind Discount Tire, there is a large parcel of land currently without confirmed development plans. The community is eagerly awaiting news about potential future projects that could further enhance this part of Sunset Boulevard.

Dixie Sunset Plaza: Fresh Cuts at Kingdom Barbers
